Welcome to Intonetic, operated by DigitalScarlet LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our website, booking a service, or purchasing any of our digital products, you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”).

Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree with them, please do not use our services.

1. Use of Our Website and Services

You must be at least 16 years old to use our services.

By using our website or purchasing coaching services or digital products, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Use the services only for lawful purposes
  • Not misuse or attempt to interfere with the website or other users’ experience
  • Respect our intellectual property and proprietary content

2. Coaching Services & Results Disclaimer

Our accent coaching services are educational in nature and designed to improve speech clarity, pronunciation, and communication skills. However:

  • Results vary based on consistency, native language, and individual effort
  • We do not guarantee native-like pronunciation or accent “elimination”
  • You are responsible for applying the techniques and completing practice work

If you do not agree with the program structure or approach, we encourage you to contact us before booking.

3. Scheduling, Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • Sessions are booked via Calendly.
  • All coaching sessions must be paid for in advance. If payment is not received before the session start time, the session will be automatically canceled.
  • You may reschedule a session free of charge with at least 12 hours’ notice.
  • Cancellations or reschedules with less than 12 hours’ notice will be counted as a used session and are non-refundable.
  • No-shows or missed sessions without notice will also be considered used.
  • Repeated short-notice cancellations may result in forfeiture of future sessions or removal from the program.
  • If technical issues or emergencies arise, we will work with you to find an alternate time.

4. Payments & Refund Policy

  • All payments are securely processed via Stripe.
  • We offer a free accent assessment (no payment required).
  • All coaching sessions are non-refundable once delivered.
  • Clients who purchase a multi-session package (e.g., 12-session program) are eligible for a pro-rated refund for unused sessions only. Used or missed sessions will be deducted at the per-session rate.
  • Clients on monthly plans remain financially responsible for the full program.
  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing.
  • All sessions must be completed within 6 months of the initial payment date. After this time, any unused sessions will expire and are not eligible for refund or credit.
  • Refunds will not be issued for changes of mind, unmet expectations, or scheduling conflicts unless otherwise stated in a written agreement.

5. Session Expiration Policy

  • All purchased sessions must be used within 6 months of the initial payment.
  • Unused sessions after this period will be forfeited.
  • No extensions or refunds will be granted beyond this timeframe unless agreed upon in writing.

6. Lifetime Access (Google Drive)

  • Clients who enroll in our programs may receive access to a private Google Drive folder with practice materials.
  • Access is:
    • Tied to the email address used during registration
    • Not transferable
    • Revocable upon data deletion request or violation of Terms
  • We reserve the right to discontinue access due to platform changes or policy updates, with prior notice.

7. Digital Product Licensing

All digital materials, videos, worksheets, and guides provided by DigitalScarlet LLC are protected by copyright. You may:

  • ✅ Use them for your own personal development
  • ❌ Not copy, sell, share, or redistribute them without written permission

8. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, images, and educational materials are the property of DigitalScarlet LLC and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit our materials without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, DigitalScarlet LLC shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, income, or profits from using our site or services
  • Delays or service interruptions outside our control

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid (if any) for services in the last 90 days.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to services if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You misuse our platform or resources
  • You request your data be deleted (which also revokes access to some services)

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at our discretion.

11. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page, with the effective date noted above. Continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of any changes.
