pronunciation frustrations?

No one should be excluded because of their accent. I believe you should be judged based on what you say, not how you sound.
Why Accent Reduction Works for Non-Native Speakers
Think of this not as replacing your natural accent, but as adding a feature to your communication toolbox. It will reflect who you are in your native language more effectively into English language.
Accents can be modified, and many people can learn new speech patterns with proper training and practice. Actors do it all the time when preparing for a new role.
Our standard program spans 12 weekly sessions, providing a structured foundation for accent improvement.

The Science Behind Your Accent
Your accent is simply muscle memory. As you pick up your first language, your brain learns how to move your jaw, lips, and tongue to form sounds. These movements became so automated that you don’t even think about them.
English has its own unique movements, just like any other language. The problem is, your brain is defaulting to what it already knows – your first language’s muscle movements.
This is the same muscle memory that you use to walk, move, swim etc. but it’s located in your face.
The good news is – muscle memory can be retrained at any age with the right approach.
The 3 Steps That Make All the Difference

1
Schedule a FREE Consultation
We’ll analyze your speech patterns to identify which of the 44 sounds in English are affecting your communication. Most students I work with focus on 10–12 core sounds, enough to noticeably improve clarity.
2
Personalizing the Plan
Your plan will prioritize the specific sounds that may help you progress more efficiently – so that you can be confident in any situation.
3
Become a Confident Speaker!
Your goal will be to practice those target sounds hundreds (sometimes even thousands) of times per week, reinforcing the muscle memory needed for clear and confident speech.

Serving the Greater Edmonton Area and Beyond
This is what my students wanted to know
before signing up with me
Is this as effective as in-person coaching?
Yes, and in many cases it’s even better. Online sessions allow for flexible scheduling, real-time feedback, recorded playback, and focused one-on-one time—without the commute through Edmonton traffic or weather.
Will I lose my identity or sound fake?
No. The goal is not to remove your uniqueness—it’s to make sure your English is clear and distraction-free, so you’re heard and understood the first time.
Do I have to sound “Canadian”?
Not at all. We focus on clarity, not perfection. You’ll develop a more neutral accent that’s easier for a wide audience to understand—whether your goal is local or international communication.
What’s the time commitment like?
You’ll need about 30–40 minutes a day to practice. You’ll also have access to weekly voice check-ins and tools to make practice efficient and enjoyable.
Is this only for immigrants or professionals?
We work with students, job seekers, working professionals, and anyone who wants to speak English more confidently and clearly.
What languages do you have experience with?
I’ve helped speakers of Spanish, Mandarin, Hindi, French, Russian, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Farsi, Portuguese, and many others.
Is accent reduction permanent?
With regular use and reinforcement, your improvements can absolutely stick.
Accent habits are physical, and once you build new muscle memory, it becomes your default way of speaking.
Like learning to ride a bike or swim—it doesn’t disappear overnight, but occasional “maintenance” helps.
Just a few minutes of daily practice (even reading aloud) can keep your clarity sharp. How much does it cost?
